Serena Williams to visit ace new Tanner Park courts

Serena Williams, the most successful active tennis player in the world, is set to visit Bermondsey over the next ten days to try out the ace new courts at Tanner Park.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion will take time out from her busy Wimbledon schedule to meet fans and host a Q&A at the refurbished and rebranded ‘NikeCourt Club’.

As well as this, for a limited time from June 25 free tennis coaching and fitness sessions will be available for players of all ages at the revamped courts.

The ‘NikeCourt Club’ project will end on July 4 but the new courts will remain as a permanent space for the Bermondsey community.
