Jamie Oliver’s apprentices to launch food revolution at Borough Market

Talkin’ bout a revolution? Not with your mouth full! Borough Market will be taken over by Jamie Oliver’s apprentices tomorrow for Food Revolution Day.

From 10am to 3pm, graduates from the Naked Chef’s restaurant Fifteen will be putting on 15-minute foodie demonstrations, showcasing techniques they’ve learned under his tutorship. Kids can also get involved by making their very own wood-oven pizzas, while hungry yet health conscious visitors can burn calories while they create, thanks to a bicycle-powered smoothie-maker.

The fun and games are all part of Jamie Oliver’s campaign to get food education installed as a compulsory part of the school curriculum in all G20 countries.
