Everyone Active thanks swimmers for fundraising wave

Thousands of pounds were raised at pools this March as part of the World’s Biggest Charity Swim, writes Josh Mellor…

More than £5000 was raised for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie in pools across Southwark operated by Everyone Active.

“I would like to congratulate everyone who trained so hard before hand to complete their challenge.” says Everyone Active Regional Contract Manager Mark Basker.

“They should be very proud of their achievements and in raising an incredible amount of money for two wonderful and important charities.

“I would also like to say a big thank you to all members of our local community who donated.”

Across its network of 100 pools, Everyone Active raised an incredible £177,966 and more than £2m was raised in total this year.
