£50,000 reward for King’s College Hospital

King’s College Hospital has been awarded £50,000 for its innovative treatment of diabetes.

The NHS Innovation Challenge prize money will go towards continuing its treatement of type 1 diabetes patients, along with some mentoring from Janssen, a company involved in diabetes treatment and care, who sponsored the award. The King’s project Three Dimensions of Care for Diabetes helps to address lifestyle causes of the disease, as well as the health symptoms.
