Fantastic and ground-breaking news for Hamlet

The news that the Hamlet will be coming home to East Dulwich at last is simply fantastic.

We cover the club week in and week out – to see them get an historic promotion in a ground that was not their own was heart-breaking.

The 125-year-old club has challenged the stereotypes of football and to survive and thrive in an area that has changed so much is no mean feat.

The fact that the developers that own the club have managed to come to an agreement, which at times appeared impossible, is testimony to the hard work of the council and local politicians, who ensured this reached the ears of those at government level.
