Camberwell Green reopens after £1m makeover

Crowds flocked to Camberwell Green last weekend, when it was re-opened after a £1m makeover.

The park now has a new play area, a new market square, a bigger lawn, new lighting and furniture, and feature walls at  the entrances.

The Green was spruced up as part of the area’s £13m regeneration project, launched in 2012, which includes a new library and square.
