Cyclist injured in Camberwell collision

A cyclist was hospitalised after a road traffic collision in Camberwell last week.

The man, who is in his 40s, was involved in a collision with a bus at around 7.22 in the morning on Monday, July 15  on Camberwell Road near the junction with Albany Road.

He was taken to hospital with injuries described as non life-threatening.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7:23am on July 16 to Camberwell Road, SE5, to reports of a road traffic  collision.

“We dispatched an advanced paramedic and an ambulance crew.

“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre.”

Police are now appealing for witnesses, especially those with dash cam footage, to come forward.
