Peckham primary school’s appeal for old photos ahead of 50th anniversary

Pilgrims Way School is appealing for people to give them old photos of the school as it prepares to mark its 50th year.

The Peckham primary also wants to speak to former pupils to share stories from their school days.

Current pupils will be recreating a room from each decade that the school has been open as part of the celebrations.

Other activities include a piece of art, which will feature contributions from pupils; a screening of the movie Happy Go Lucky, filmed at the school by director Mike Leigh; a play to be performed at Theatre Peckham; and an historic treasure hunt.

Anyone who wants to help can contact Yolanda Houston on 07770 347616 or email yhouston.210@lgflmail.org
