Have a wizard time at Harry Potter book night

Canada Water library is celebrating Harry Potter Book Night on Thursday February 5 with a fun filled evening.

Events will run from 5pm until 6.30pm where fans of the magical books can win prizes by taking part in a fancy dress competition and Master Mind style quiz.

Councillor Dora Dixon-Fyle, cabinet member for adult care, arts and culture said: “Reading is such an important skill, and celebrating Harry Potter Book Night allows our communities to come together and enjoy all the fun that reading these books bring.

“I hope everyone is just as excited to attend our Harry Potter Book Night events as I am!”

Other libraries including Dulwich and Camberwell will be getting in the wizarding spirit with activities on selected dates.
