English Martyrs School pupils give worldly welcome to MP Neil Coyle

Nursery and primary school kids in Walworth were paid a visit by Bermondsey and Old Southwark MP Neil Coyle.

The Labour MP was given a tour of English Martyrs Roman Catholic School on Friday.

He was greeted with pupils who each said “hello” to him in theirs or their parents’ first language: Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Senegalese, Filipino, and Nigerian.

There was also a performance by pupils who sang at Wembley Arena, as part of the Voices in a Million schools event.
