Southwark children take part in Bermondsey production of Oliver!

Thirty children from around Southwark will perform Oliver! at the Greenwood Theatre in London Bridge next week.

The Quay Players, a community theatre group and registered charity based in Bermondsey, will perform the show on July 28 to 30, at 7:30pm and 2:30pm.

The cast, made up of all ages and backgrounds, were brought together by a shared passion for theatre and sense of community.

They have made recent appearances at both the Potters Field and Bermondsey Carnivals, exciting both children and adults alike with the classic songs.

Tickets cost £14 for adults and £12 for concessions (£2 less than the door price) and are available on the group’s website www.quayplayers.org.uk

Groups of ten people or more pay only £10 a ticket.
