Three more boys have been charged with murder after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Woolwich last week.

Tamim Ian Habimana was stabbed on Woolwich New Road at about 5.30pm last Monday (July 5). Officers and ambulance crews were called and found him suffering from a single stab wound. He died at the scene just after 6pm.

Four boys have been charged in connection with his death. A 15-year-old and a 14-year-old were charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Saturday (July 10).

A 17-year-old was also charged with murder and attempted murder on Saturday. As well as Tamim, a second 15-year-old boy went to hospital with a stab wound. His condition is not life-threatening, police said.

All three of the boys charged on Saturday will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today (Monday July 12).

The new charges come after a 15-year-old boy was charged on Friday (July 9) with murder, attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and will go before the Old Bailey on Monday.
