Woman threatened with hand gun at Brunel Road robbery

A female staff member was threatened with a handgun on Tuesday night during an armed robbery at a Nisa Local shop in Brunel Road.

A police spokesperson said: “Two suspects entered the shop and one of them grabbed the female member of staff from behind. He produced a hand gun and demanded money.”

The pair are believed to have left without taking anything. No injuries were reported at the scene.
