Teen charged with murder of Peckham teenager

The detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of Malcolm Mide-Madariola outside Clapham South tube station have charged  a teenager with murder.

A seventeen-year-old arrested on Monday, November 5, on suspicion of murder was due appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.

A second man, aged eighteen, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday, has been released on bail until later this month.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing on Balham Hill at 4.35pm last Friday, with officers and paramedics finding seventeen-year-old Malcolm suffering from a stab wound.

Despite their best efforts, he died from his injuries shortly after being rushed to hospital.
