Teen arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Forest Hill stabbing

A fifteen-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder by officers investigating a stabbing in Forest Hill yesterday when a teenage boy was ‘attacked by two men in a getaway car’.

The fifteen-year-old victim, a boy, is no longer in a life-threatening condition but remains in a south London hospital after being stabbed in the chest around 4pm yesterday afternoon (Monday, March 25) on Dartmouth Road.

Police say he was attacked by two men who arrived by car, attacked him, and then made off in the vehicle.

A fifteen-year-old suspect was arrested the same day and remains in police custody.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, or Crimstoppers, the independent charity, on 0800 555 111 to pass on information anonymously.
