Suspected drugs found at Rotherhithe address after armed police raid

A stash of suspected drugs were found at a property in Rotherhithe after it was raided by armed officers.

The property, in Hawkstone Road, was raided on the afternoon of Friday, May 26, by detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command, and armed officers from the Specialist Firearms Command.

A quantity of suspected class B drugs were discovered, but police are still awaiting test results.

There have been no arrest sand inquiries continue.

The incident was not terror-related.
