Update: Second arrest after Peckham teen stabbed to death outside Clapham tube station

Detectives investigating the death of a teenager from Peckham who was stabbed outside Clapham South tube station on Friday have made a second arrest.

An eighteen-year-old was arrested today on suspicion of murder and is in custody in a south London police station, as is the seventeen-year-old also arrested earlier today.

College student Malcolm Mide-Madariola from Peckham died shortly after being rushed to hospital after he was stabbed outside Clapham South station on Friday afternoon at around 4.30pm.

It is believed the attack took place after an ‘altercation’ between two groups of males, and a ‘large number of people’ were present as emergency services arrived.

Witnesses should call the major crime incident room on 020 8721 4868 quoting CAD 5291/02 Nov, or call Crimstoppers on 0800 555 111.
