Police still investigating attempted kidnap of 4-year-old boy in Dulwich

Police are still enquiring into the attempted kidnap of a four-year-old boy who was nearly snatched into a car on December 7.

Police were called at 3.30pm to reports that an unknown suspect had reached out of a green car to grab the boy, but drove away when his nanny started screaming.

The incident happened as they walked at the corner of Calton Avenue and Gilkes Crescent, near Dulwich Village Church of England Infants’ School.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information that could help the police should call 101.
