Police called to an alleged car-jacking attempt in Gipsy Hill

Police were called to an alleged car-jacking in Gipsy Hill, in which a man threatened a woman with a weapon.

Cops were called at 10:25am on January 3 to Farquar Road to reports of the dispute.

The woman was sitting in her car when a man approached and banged on the window, claiming it was his car. But the woman got out of the car and told the man it was her car.

The man apologised, and left the scene.

Officers confirmed what happened have said they will not be taking further action.
