Pensioner charged with murder after woman, 69, fatally stabbed in Herne Hill

A man has been charged with the murder of a 69-year-old woman who was fatally stabbed at an address in Herne Hill.

David Thomas, 73, of Casino Avenue, SE24, was charged with the murder of Sheila Thomas, 69, also of Casino Avenue, on Tuesday, July 31.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, August 3.
