Peckham man ‘threatened to set himself on fire’

Fire, ambulance, and police services were called on Sunday morning as a man allegedly threatened to set himself on fire outside the KFC in Old Kent Road.

A 37-year-old man was arrested shortly after 11.20am on suspicion of causing criminal damage and for public disorder.

The police were called by London Ambulance, who arrived at 11.03.
