Man stabbed in the hand in Aylesbury Estate

A man was stabbed in the hand in Walworth’s Aylesbury Estate last night.

A resident told the News from around half nine police officers rushed to the scene with an ambulance.

A Met spokesperson confirmed they were called to reports of an assault at 9.25pm, to Beaconsfield Road, off Thurlow Street.

They found 29-year-old man was found suffering from a stab injury to his hand who was then taken to hospital by ambulance.

His injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

Police say there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
