Kennington motorcylist who died after Sutton collision named by police

A motorcyclist who died after a collision with a white van in Sutton has been named as Jon Goudie, from Kennington.

The twenty-year-old collided with the van and some parked vehicles on Westmead Road at around 8pm on Thursday, December 6 and died at the scene.

The 45-year-old male van driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs and causing death by careless driving.

He was taken into custody and has now been released under investigation.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
