Boy, 16, charged with murder of Joshua Boadu in Bermondsey

A sixteen-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of Joshua Boadu, who was stabbed to death in Bermondsey last year.

The teenager will appear in custody at Croydon Youth Court on Thursday, police said tonight, (Wednesday, March 6).

Denilson Davis, 20, of Hemel Hempstead, who was charged with murder on September 28 is still in custody awaiting trial.

No further action has been taken against a 17-year-old who had been arrested in September on suspicion of murder.

The fatal stabbing on popular Joshua, 23, known as SJ to family and friends, took place near Bermondsey’s Lucey Way on June 11.
