Bermondsey: Boy, 16, in ‘critical’ condition after Druid Street stabbing

A sixteen-year-old boy is fighting for life in hospital this morning following a stabbing on Bermondsey’s Druid Street.

Police were called to the stabbing at around 10.10pm last night, and are appealing for witnesses.

Druid Street, near to the Arnold Estate, was closed off between Tanner Street and Abbey Street while police dealt with the scene.

The teenager is in a ‘critical condition in hospital’ said officers.

No arrests have yet been made, and their enquiries are continuing.

Witnesses are being urged to call 101 quoting the reference ‘7473/oct06’.
