Arrest after commuter assaulted at London Bridge station

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a commuter was assaulted at London Bridge station, which had prompted a police appeal.

The attack is reported to have happened at 7.30am on July 5.

The man, who police said is from Camden, has since been released under investigation.

Detectives’ enquiries are continuing.
