Man in his sixties rushed to hospital with head injury after attack in Bermondsey’s Blue

A man in his forties was arrested by police last night on suspicion of committing GBH on man in his sixties on Bermondsey’s Southwark Park Road.

Police were called to the incident thought to have happened by Times Kebab shop in the area popularly known as The Blue  at around 10.30pm last night Friday, August 6.

The victim, who police say is in his sixties, was treated by paramedics at the scene and he was taken to hospital with a head injury.

Fortunately police have confirmed ‘his condition has been assessed as non life-threatening’.

A spokesperson from Scotland Yard told the News: “A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH. He has been taken into custody. Enquiries continue.”
