Crashing UFO makes a splash at Keyworth School

Budding reporters at Keyworth Primary have been writing up the story of a UFO landing after the school’s caretaker built an upturned space craft, which appeared to have crashed in their wildlife garden on Monday.

Using alien-voiced radio transmissions, the teachers created a mysterious narrative for the super-sleuths to investigate.

Lewis Hingston, year five teacher and literacy co-ordinator, said: “We wanted to inspire the children with something out of the ordinary. The project has been a huge success and we have seen some amazing pieces of imaginative work. The children have taken a lot from the project and showcased how truly talented and creative they are.”
