Calling all older people on their own – there is still time to book a place for Christmas Day

Guy’s and St Thomas’ is hosting a Christmas lunch and party for pensioners living in Bermondsey, Rotherhithe and north Southwark.

Bermondsey Care for the Elderly have extended their deadline to ensure that everyone registers.

A three course Christmas lunch will be held at the Robens Suite, with entertainment and goodies throughout the day including a gift for each guest. Door-to-door transport will be provided. Attendees even get £5 to go home with.

Meanwhile in Rotherhithe Bacon’s College is also offering a free traditional Christmas lunch for any adults who may be on their own this Christmas, along with plenty of festive entertainment from 12.30pm.
