Aylesbury-on-sea comes to Walworth

Families and kids from Walworth enjoyed a summer beach party last Thursday complete with fish and chips, ice-cream, donkey rides, and inflatable seagulls at ‘Aylesbury-on-Sea’.

The free annual event, put on by the Creation Trust, included a sandpit, bouncy castle and plenty of seaside-themed games at The Giraffe House on Albany Road.

One resident, Jackie, said: “I wouldn’t change a thing about today. It was a fantastic event. My kids loved it.”

Creation Trust’s chief executive, Charlotte Benstead, described it as “a genuinely joyous day” filled with “lovely family memories”.
