Canada Water needs sorting out before thousands arrive at new homes

It is no surprise to find that London Bridge and Canada Water are in the top ten of the most closed tube stations.

When the works are finally finished at London Bridge the situation should be relieved, however, at Canada Water the future is not looking rosy as thousands more people are expected to arrive into the area as part of the Canada Water Masterplan. There should be a coordinated approach involving all our elected representatives, local groups and the commuting public to campaign for more buses, a bridge to Canary Wharf and a public ferry service to the north side of the river. These demands cannot be met over night, so it’s vital that we start working for these much needed services before even more workers and residents descend upon the peninsular.
