BREAKING NEWS: Disorder and man slashed in the face in Bermondsey

Police were called to Bermondsey’s Southwark Park Road this afternoon after receiving ‘reports of disorder involving a large group of males’.

Officers rushed to the scene at 4.31pm and found a man in his 20s suffering from a slash wound to the face.

He is currently being treated by London Ambulance Service, but officers confirmed that his injuries aren’t life-threatening.

Police also said “another male was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and possession with intent to supply”, but that his arrest is not connected to the male suffering the slash wound.

He has been taken into custody.

Officers remain in attendance and added that a ‘shop front is believed to have been damaged following an altercation between a group of males’.
