Bermondsey fun day raises money for charities

The Bermondsey community rallied together to raise money for charity at a fundraiser last Friday.

The family fun day was in aid of south-London charities Homes 4 Heroes, the Freddie Farmer Foundation, Peckham Pride and Docklands JFC.

The event, hosted by A&E Elkins and held at the City of London Academy in Lyndon Road, featured an Irish dancing performance by the Cullen Whelan School as well as a DJ.

The fun and games was enjoyed by both young and old – even the Chelsea Pensioners got in on the act.
