In a battle for top dog, Bermondsey’s hot dogs are taking the lead and strutting their stuff in this year’s Bermondsey Street festival dog show.

Pooch pampering professionals Holly and Lil have been running the dog show since the beginning. The original idea was everyone in the street would play a part in the festival: the restaurants would take care of the food stalls, the designers put on a fashion show, and Holly&Lil would host a dog show to end all dog shows.

This year the winning prize for the dog show is a groom at Holly&Lil’s new grooming parlour on Tower Bridge Road.

The dog show is at 2-4pm with registration from 12 noon in Leather Market Gardens or people can register at Holly and Lil at 103 Bermondsey St, SE1 3XB. Phone: 020 3287 3024.
