Kelis to headline this year’s Jam on Rye festival

R&B star Kelis will headline Peckham’s Jam on Rye festival at the end of May bank holiday.

The festival is coming back for its second year, and will feature three days of music and food at Peckham Rye Park until on Monday, May 27.

The event is the Milkshake, Trick Me, and Millionaire star’s first UK performance of 2019, in a line-up including Jazzie B and Omar, and a stage hosted by online radio station Balamii showcasing local talent.

Bleeker Burger and Club Mexicana will be joined by BBQ Dreamz and Baba G, winners of BBC’s Million Pound Menu serving food to hungry festival-goers.

Organisers KERB say there will be a special family-friendly programme including a kids dome playground and messy ‘slime factory’ for kids.
