Historic relaunch of Walworth Festival kicks off this Saturday

This Saturday will see another instalment of the Walworth Festival take place at Liverpool Grove to coincide with the annual Party in the Park.

The Walworth Festival is the revival of an event that was last seen in the 1980s, and has been organised by the Walworth Society.

 

It will see 40 stalls with things to buy, and information about all of the exciting community projects in Walworth.

Visitors will be able to do sports activity and a range of exciting arts and creative activities for kids.

Various local artists will showcase the vibrancy, diversity and talents in Walworth, and put Walworth back on the map by celebrating its rich history, as well as welcome new people into the community.
