GALLERY: Walworth travels back in time at family festival

Walworth travelled back in time on Saturday at a family festival, with vintage police cars on display as well as appearances from Octavia Hill and Michael Faraday.

Revellers filled Liverpool Grove for the Living Walworth family festival, which was officially opened by the new Mayor of Southwark, Cllr Dora Dixon-Fyle.

African drumming and street performers kept the crowds entertained, while displays within St Peter’s Church went into the history of the local area and the Walworth Road.
