For folk’s sake, get down the Blue for a free music festival

Music lovers are set for a folk-load of fun next month at a free music festival from September 1 to September 6.

During the week, evening gigs will take place in a number of pubs in Southwark Park Road.

The Queen Vic will host the festival on Tuesday evening, the Old Bank on Wednesday, the Blue Anchor on Thursday and the Ancient Foresters on Friday. These shows will take place from 8pm-10pm.

Saturday will see performances from 12.30pm-6pm in The Blue market and on Sunday the fun will take place from 12.30pm-3pm in the grounds of the old Peek Frean factory in Drummond Street.
