Donkey rides, a very tall Santa and an ice rink were just some of the festive attractions that lured people to Bermondsey’s annual Christmas event on the Blue.

Families turned out to enjoy face painting, a UB40 tribute, food, Irish dancing and other treats last Sunday afternoon.

The event, now in its sixth year, was sponsored by the Bermondsey BID. More than a hundred pounds was raised for London Evelina’s Children’s Hospital.
