Applications open for council’s Free Swim and Gym scheme at six Southwark leisure centres

Applications have opened for all Southwark residents to get free access to six council leisure centre as part of its new Free Swim and Gym programme.

Those who sign up will be able to use the leisure centres on Fridays (subject to timetabling) and after 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

The six Southwark Council leisure centres included in the scheme, now managed by Everyone Active, are: The Castle Centre, Camberwell Leisure Centre, Dulwich Leisure Centre, Peckham Pulse, Seven Islands Leisure Centre, and the gym at Surrey Docks Watersports Centre.

Over-60s will continue to participate in silver sessions for free and disabled residents will have free access for seven days a week.
