Barry Albin much missed

It’s been a year this week since Bermondsey funeral director Barry Albin-Dyer passed away – and he is much missed.

Barry was the man who singlehandedly saved this newspaper from closure back in the 1990s and was an ever-present source of advice and support. But he was so much to so many people in the community – not just to us here.

There will be many who thought of him this week, and no doubt reflected on how he was truly one of Bermondsey’s finest.
